Salsa Night

Salsa is an incredible musical genre full of history. Plus, she's incredibly fun and sexy to dance to! Enjoy a fantastic night learning how to salsa dance with talented dancers as you go from club to club. Party like never before, letting the beat take control of your body!

The salsa tour begins at 8:00 pm with a hotel pick-up where you will meet your companions: talented salsa dancers who will guide you through the salsa scene, teaching you the basic moves and making you feel like a local.

The first stop of the night will be at Cachao, a little piece of Cuban heaven inspired by the famous musician Israel Cachao López. The specialty of the Cuban-inspired menu is its 17 incredible Mojito combinations (not included). Start the night with joy listening to salsa and learning incredible salsa steps.
You will leave at 10:00 pm to go to the next club called Cuban Jazz Café. In this place, you will go back in time and enter one of the oldest salsa clubs in the city. In 1944, Lucho Bermúdez and his Great Orchestra of the Caribbean inaugurated, in the same place where the Cuban Jazz Café is located today, the prestigious Club Metropolitano. It was here that Afro-Caribbean rhythms were danced and played for the first time in the capital. Today, the Cuban Jazz Café focuses on live music, especially Caribbean rhythms. Accompanied by a live orchestra, get ready to dance salsa and enjoy this fascinating music.
The tour will end at midnight when you return to your hotel, where you can rest and enjoy the rest of the night.

Important information

These other three clubs are an option as well and the order of the clubs could change depending on the day and club availability.

• Galería Café Libro is more than a party experience, it is a place that has fostered the cultivation of various forms of art and culture for more than 25 years. It was born as a place where lovers of salsa and literature met. It is also a gallery; the paintings that are there are for sale. Here they have Latin music in all genres: pipers, Andean, minstrels and joint.

• El Bembé is the place to be if you want to be at the center of the salsa scene in the capital. It is entering a tropical paradise in the middle of the city, located in the center of Bogotá. Accompanied by a live orchestra you will dance salsa like a professional and enjoy rhythms such as salsa, Wawanco, boogaloo, charanga, cha cha cha, Afro beats, soul and funk.

• El Titico Grill is a place inspired by the Cali grills of the 70's. Cali was the center of the salsa movement in Colombia and its golden age was the 70's and 80's. Get ready to dance intensely, in this club you can hear all the different types of rhythms such as: the charanga, the pachanga, the boogaloos, the Shingaling, the sones, the danzones and the guarachas to name a few. This club is little known to non-locals and part of the charm of the place is that it is a meeting point for the best salsa dancers in the city.

This tour is only available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as they are the liveliest days in terms of the night scene.
